About
The Bismarck Adult Learning Center (ALC) provides services to individuals ages 16 or older. Some services include assisting adults in improving academic skills,exploring career and college opportunities, retaining employment, and building on life skills. The ALC also provides services to meet the needs of displaced homemakers, English Language Learners, injured workers, and others in academic need. Teachers use an individualized approach with each student moving at his or her own pace. Most services provided by the ALC are free to eligible North Dakota residents from Region VII.

Area of Greatest Need
Needs within the program and student attendees can change and vary greatly. Supporting the area of greatest need allows your donation to make the most immediate impact.
Student Recognition
Reinforcing academic achievement through students recognition helps to guide students to showcase positive outcomes.
Student Needs
This funding would go to provide for students where basic needs have been identified. This would include, but not be limited to, personal hygiene products, lice shampoo, winter gloves, snow pants and coats, socks, underwear, etc.
Teacher Appreciation
Funding would go to provide appreciation gifts for teachers who a making a difference in the lives of our BPS learners. This could range from a small gift to a catered lunch for teachers.
