BPS Family Assistance Fund

Common things that have been approved by the funding committee are as follows:
- Past due utility/heat bills
- Past due rent
- Past due medical bills
We ask that you exhaust existing community supports and utilize this fund for things that cannot be covered elsewhere. Examples of things that have not been covered are transportation or any type of gift cards. That stated, cases are reviewed and approved on a case by case basis with the families current situation taken into consideration.

- Cold Weather Gear
- Snacks (will send only when available)
Please note, lice kits may only be requested by your building nurse! If there is a need within these areas that is not listed within the form, please reach out to Tahlia Nygaard, Development Director for assistance.
External Supports
For the following supports, we would ask that you either pass along the link to the family in need to fill out or assist them in filling out and follow the prompts provided for submission. These programs are not supported by the BPS Foundation but rather community programs who have reached out and asked us to promote their program.
You Matter Project – Tires Plus automotive repair shops in Minot-Bismarck-Fargo, ND and Huron-Brookings, SD, have developed the You Matter Project. The You Matter Project is our heartfelt initiative designed to make a real, visible impact on people’s lives by fostering a sense of connection and compassion. Their You Matter Project is supported by the generosity of their team members, who proudly contribute from each paycheck. These funds are matched by their owner, Jarid Lundeen, amplifying our impact.
- Purpose: Assist with essential tire, automobile repair, or preventative maintenance needs.
- Impact: Remove vehicle issues as a barrier, helping individuals achieve their goals.
- Grant Limit: Up to $500.00 per request.
- Services Provided At: Trusted Tire & Auto or Valvoline Instant Oil Change locations.
