United Sound

Bismarck Public Schools is proud to offer a United Sound program.

The United Sounds program overarching goal is to provide musical performance experiences for students with special needs through peer mentorship. We are dedicated to promoting social involvement through shared ensemble performance experience, joining students with and without disabilities to learn and perform in orchestra together.

Funding is needed for this program to help offset the cost associated with collaboration efforts with other teachers outside of our region as well as for students be able to perform and practice with other musicians, both United Sound and Bands of America, throughout the United States. They will be able to learn from one another and make new friends from other parts of the country.
