Sanford Cares
Sanford Health is dedicated to delivering hope, health and healing to patients and the communities they serve. It was out of this dedication, that the Sanford Cares program was developed in 2019. The program provides second-grade students enrolled in Title I schools in the Bismarck Public School system with gifts that bring joy, warmth and nutrition during the holidays.
Sanford Health is proud to be partnering with the Bismarck Public Schools Foundation to help spread joy and cheer this holiday season.
This year, donations toward the Sanford Cares program will help bring smiles to the faces of 400 second-grade students in the community. These students will receive a backpack full of gifts, including hats, gloves, water bottles, grocery vouchers and other essential items.
Several levels of sponsorship for the Sanford Cares program are available and include:
- – Sponsor a School: $5,250
- – Sponsor a Classroom: $2,000
- – Sponsor a Student: $100

Thank you to previous donors who have contributed to the Sanford Cares program and to our community partners who make this program possible now and into the future. In 2021 alone, we were able to raise almost $40,000 which allowed us to expand our reach through the Title I schools. A special thank you to our school sponsors Roy Gilbreath, who sponsored Will-Moore elementary, and the Sanford Administration, which sponsored Myhre elementary.
