Horizon Middle School – Fundraiser For The Husky Gearbots Lego Robotics Team 

The Husky Gearbots LEGO® Robotics team at Horizon Middle School won the North Dakota State Competition and earned a trip to the 2025 FIRST Championship, which will take place April 16-19, 2025 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas.

The team is looking to raise $25,000 to cover the costs associated with this competition, including expenses such as registration fees, travel, accommodation, meals, and team uniforms. Your support will not only help the team represent our school and our community, but it will also provide these students with an invaluable opportunity to showcase their skills and dedication to science and technology.

This year, FIRST® expects over 50,000 participants from over 50 different countries. Participating in the FIRST Championship will allow students to develop teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills, which are essential for personal and academic growth.  This will be an extraordinary experience that will spark excitement and create opportunities for these students to innovate for a better world.
