Project: Play & SpeAACk! Communication Station Donation Fundraiser
Every child deserves a voice—and with your help, we can make that a reality across the Bismarck Public School District playgrounds. We’re raising funds to install Communication Stations using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) symbols at every school playground, ensuring that children with speech and language challenges can fully participate, express themselves, and connect with their peers during play. These communication stations foster inclusion, empathy, and accessibility, turning playgrounds into spaces where every child is heard. Your donation will directly support the purchase and installation of these vital tools, creating a more inclusive community—one playground at a time. Let’s build a world where every voice matters.
Installing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) playground signs will enhance communication for nonverbal students, promote inclusivity by allowing all children to participate in activities, help to raise awareness and understanding among neurotypical peers, foster a supportive community, and provide educational opportunities about diverse communication methods.
Consider making a donation to help your school install a Communication Station, or sponsor a sign for $2,500 and have your logo proudly displayed on it. You can also support this cause by purchasing merchandise here, with a portion of proceeds going directly toward Communication Stations!
