FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BISMARCK, N.D. — The Bismarck Public Schools Foundation (BPSF) is proud to announce the receipt of a generous $30,000 grant from Marathon Petroleum to support three Foundation programs focused on meeting the essential needs of Bismarck Public Schools students and families.
The grant will provide $10,000 each to the Foundation’s Fill the Bus, Lunch Assistance, and Family Assistance Fund programs. Together, these programs help remove barriers for students and provide additional support to families throughout the district.
Fill the Bus helps provide school supplies and other essential items to BPS students, ensuring students have the tools they need to be prepared and ready to learn.
Lunch Assistance helps reduce outstanding student meal balances for BPS families experiencing financial hardship.
The Family Assistance Fund provides support for immediate and essential student and family needs. Funding can assist with items such as clothing, hygiene products, transportation needs, household essentials, and other necessities that may impact a student’s ability to thrive at school.
Marathon Petroleum’s investment will allow the BPS Foundation to continue responding to needs throughout the district and providing resources that directly benefit students and families.
The Bismarck Public Schools Foundation is grateful for Marathon Petroleum’s generosity and commitment to strengthening the Bismarck community. Partnerships like this help ensure students have access to the resources and support they need both inside and outside the classroom.
The Bismarck Public Schools Foundation works to assist the district in empowering every learner to thrive by enhancing services and recognition of students and staff. Through partnerships with businesses, organizations, and community members, the Foundation provides additional resources and opportunities throughout Bismarck Public Schools.
