BPSF Establishes New Fine Arts Grant

The Bismarck Public Schools Foundation is proud to announce the establishment of the Fine Arts Endowment Grant, a new permanent funding opportunity dedicated to strengthening Fine Arts education throughout Bismarck Public Schools.

Established in 2026 by the BPS Foundation Board of Directors, the Foundation has permanently endowed $100,000 to create a lasting source of support for Fine Arts programming across the district. The endowment is expected to generate approximately $4,000 annually, ensuring sustainable funding for years to come.

The creation of the Fine Arts Endowment reflects the Foundation’s commitment to providing opportunities that enrich the educational experience for every student. Through this annual grant, educators and Fine Arts programs will be able to pursue innovative projects, purchase equipment and supplies, expand performance opportunities, and provide meaningful artistic experiences that may not otherwise be possible through traditional funding.

The Fine Arts Endowment was created after identifying a growing need for dedicated Fine Arts funding within the district. By permanently investing these funds, the Foundation has established a lasting resource that will continue supporting music, visual arts, theater, and other Fine Arts programs for decades to come.

Grant applications will be available through the BPS Foundation’s regular grant cycles, with awards reviewed by the Foundation’s Grants Committee and approved by the Board of Directors.

Individuals, businesses, and community members who are passionate about Fine Arts education are invited to help grow the endowment through additional contributions. Gifts to the Fine Arts Endowment will increase its long-term impact and expand opportunities for Bismarck Public Schools students.
