Local BPS Students’ art to be displayed in Paw Art Parade

The Bismarck Public School Foundation’s first-ever Paw Art community fundraiser was a resounding success.  In total, over $5,000 was raised to benefit the BPS Foundation, BPS Fine Arts Department, and the Central Dakota Humane Society.  BPS students drew portraits of pets based on pictures submitted by donors; the finished artwork was then sent back to the owners.  In total, over 200 entries were received, with pets ranging from cats and dogs, to lizards, cows, and turtles.

The students’ masterpieces will be showcased online through a YouTube premiere video set to go live on Sunday, April 11th in honor of National Pet Day. Participating students have a special “red carpet premiere” of the video on Friday, April 9th throughout the day.
