Help “takeout” the effects COVID-19 has had our on struggling BPS families

The Bismarck Public Schools Foundation has partnered with Applebee’s to “takeout” the devastating effects COVID-19 has had on struggling BPS families.  The Bismarck Applebee’s is hosting 3 takeout nights; 2 at their North location and 1 at their South location.  Dates for these events are Monday, April 13th at the South Applebee’s and Tuesday, April 14th at the North Applebee’s and Thursday, April 16th at both the North and South Applebee’s.  Applebee’s has committed to donating 20% from the event days’ total meal prices back to The Bismarck Public School Foundation for the COVID-19 BPS Family Assistance fund.  This fund currently serves as a safety net for struggling BPS families to provide essential needs that cannot be met through existing community services and resources.

In order to secure the dates, at least 20 pre-registrations per event date are required. Links to pre-register by date are shown below:

Those that want to help but cannot make it to the event can donate through the foundation website or by mail. To donate online simply click here and choose “COVID-19 BPS Family Assistance.” Those wishing to donate via check, please mail the donation to the Bismarck Public Schools Foundation located at 806 N Washington St, Bismarck ND 58501 and state “COVID-19” in the check memo line.”
